 With the popularity of various digital devices, especially MP3 and digital camera, there are more and more USB devices. However, although these devices adopt USB interface, the data cables of these devices are not exactly the same. These data lines are the same at one end of the PC, but when connecting the device end, various interfaces are usually adopted for volume consideration. The connectors of most digital products are the same except those connected to the PC, and the other end also follows the standard specifications. USB is a unified transmission specification, but there are many kinds of interfaces. The most common one is the flat one used on the computer, which is called A-port. There are four wires in it. According to who plugs in, it is divided into male and female interfaces. Generally, the male port is on the line and the female port is on the machine.

Next is the most common interface in digital products. Due to the limited volume of digital products, mini B interfaces are usually used, but there are many kinds of mini B interfaces.  
 
● Mini B type 5pin  
This interface can be said to be the most common one at present. Due to its excellent anti misinsertion performance and small size, this interface is winning the favor of more and more manufacturers. Now this interface is widely used in card readers, MP3, digital cameras and mobile hard disks. At present, there are many devices using this interface, such as Sony camera, video camera and MP3, Olympus camera and recording pen, Canon camera and HP digital camera. Common mini-b 4Pin interfaces: in addition to the most common mini-b 5pin interfaces, mini-b has many kinds of interfaces, some of which are also common.  
 
● Mini B type 4Pin  
This interface is commonly used in digital products of the following brands: Olympus C series and E series, and most of Kodak's digital cameras, Samsung's MP3 products (such as yepp), Sony's DSC series, compaq's IPAQ series... Fuji mini-b 4Pin flat interface: there is another form of mini-b 4Pin, that is, mini-b 4Pin flat. As the name suggests, this interface is more flat than mini-b 4Pin and is widely used in devices.

This interface is very similar to mini B type 4Pin, but this connector is more flat and occupies less volume.  
This interface is common in the following devices: Fuji's FinePix series, Casio's QV series cameras, and Konica's products.  
Unique to Nikon, mini B 8pin interface:  
In addition to the front 4Pin and 5pin, there is also 8pin for mini B. this kind of connector is very rare on other devices, usually on digital cameras. There are also three types of mini B interfaces, one is ordinary, one is round, and the other is 2 × 4 flat interface of layout.

Compared with the previous ordinary type, the original D-type joint is changed into a circular joint, and a protrusion is designed to prevent misinsertion on one side. This kind of connector can be seen in some Nikon digital cameras, and Coolpix series are more common. Although Nikon has always insisted on using this interface, the most popular Mini B 5pin interface is also used in some newer models, such as D100 and CP2000. This interface is also a common interface. The famous MP3 series of iRiver, in which 180tc, known as "iron triangle", and many other products of this series adopt this interface. The application scope of this interface is also quite wide, but after iRiver has completely changed from 3xx series to mini B-type 5pin interface, this specification is obviously not as eye-catching as mini B-type 5pin.
